In Pharoah’s dream, seven fat cows are eaten by seven lean cows, and seven large ears of corn are swallowed by seven lean ears of corn. Yosef interprets that seven years of plenty will be followed by seven years of famine. He directs all of Egypt to prepare adequately by storing up grain during the years of plenty.The Sfat Emet brings this story down into the personal realm:What can we learn from this passage?
